In an effort to promote Alternative Fuels, American Bio-Fuels and the Regional Director or Henry County has applied
for a state grant for production of Biodiesel with Used cooking grease collected for the use by the county wide services.
This is community-based Think Green campaign dedicated to improve Henry county and surrounding communities.The "Think
Green" campaign is designed educate the public on alternative fuels, involve the county in recycling used grease for
Biofuels, reduce emissions and waste, save the county on fuels consumed, and reduce demand for foreign oils.
Our
goal is to collect, process/prepare used grease from restaurants and other food services as well as collected grease from
the publics participation, produce Biodiesel and save the county thousands each year with B20 blended fuel. Surplus
fuels produced will be offered to local struggling farmers needing discounted fuels.
